Hoyo De Monterrey Epicure Especial

New regular production vitole from Hoyo de Monterrey, developed from the blend of the 2004 Edicion Limitada cigar. Still a young cigar, but offering serious aging potential, this cigar will be slightly more powerful than many of the other Hoyo’s.

Overall, this product is a well-constructed cigar and this reflected nicely on the burn and draw. The burn path remains straight from start to finish. The burn line has a slight curvature to it, but the cigar itself isn’t prone to meandering. The cigar requires what consider to be a normal amount of touch-ups.

There is a salt and pepper color scheme to the resulting ash, which is on the firm side. As for the burn rate and burn temperature, both are ideal.
