Asbach first became known outside of Germany when troops returning from World War II brought back their taste for the spirit. This bottling is aged in small French Limousine casks (the distillery’s founder, Hugo Asbach, was French and studied the methods of Cognac houses prior to creating his own brandy) for 8 years. Asbach uses wine sourced from across Europe, distilling in copper pot stills. A bright and fruity brandy with notes of apples, grapes, flowers, toffee, vanilla, coconut, oak, red berries and apricot.
A cult favorite, and with good reason.
Pair it with a great Cigar from our wide selection, Cuban or New World!
