Description
Longueteau XO Tres Vieux Rhum Agricole is a mixture of “agricultural roe” that is at least 8 years old. The storage has taken place in oak barrels that have previously contained brandy. Longueteau XO Tres Vieux Rhum Agricole has a scent of oak and vanilla, while the taste offers notes of blah. bananas, cinnamon and vanilla.
Longueteau was founded in 1895 in the French archipelago of Guadeloupe in the Caribbean.
Henri Longueteau acquired the property Le Domaine De Marquisat De Sante-Marie, in 1890, where the property’s former owner Marquisen of Santa-Marie, due to a great penchant for gambling, was forced to divest the property to pay off a gambling debt. Henri Longueteau did not know at the time what the property was for, but was told by the seller that he could pay continuously when deciding what the property was for.
Today, rum has been produced on the property for more than 120 years.
The decision to start space production in the old sugar rafinaderi dropped Henri very naturally. Today, Longueteau is the only 100% self-sufficient distillery on Guadeloupe and is run by 4 genereation in the family.
Enjoy it with a great Cuban or New World Cigar!
